Good evening! We gather tonight as members of the faculty and staff to mark the official beginning of a new academic year at Olivet Nazarene University. This year the University will launch its Centennial Celebration, which will be officially observed during 2007. What a heritage has been passed to each of us!
The theme of the President’s Dinner this year is “A Legacy of Service.” Among our special guests tonight are several retired members of our faculty and staff. Their presence, along with the theme itself, reminds us that the heart of Olivet resides not in buildings or academic programs, …
