Problem. Many present day vocational interest surveys rely exclu­sively on printed reading materials to assess youngsters' vocational interest . The use of printed reading materials alone may not best serve the youngsters who are unable to read or who learn best through a different kind of learning structure . Problem

Recent research in the area of development of language skills indicates a trend toward exploration of the role of the auditory modality in learning to read. Rhythm is frequently thought to be an important contributing element. A correlational study was undertaken to discover the extent to which a relationship exists between rhythm ability and reading achievement in a sample of middle class fifth-grade children of both sexes.

Method

One hundred and thirty-seven fifth-grade students participated in the study. Of these, 63 were males and 74 were females. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients were found between scores of rhythm ability and …

Three major documents related to educational planning were prepared. Problem. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is losing a great number of youth. The unfavorable attitudes on the part of many youth toward god's commandments are thought to have been partially responsible for this apostasy phenomenon.

Method. This study was designed to find out whether the Piagetian theory of moral judgment development can give some insight into this problem and its solution. Statistics Canada (1977) reported that the national mobility rate of the teaching force in Canadian public elementary and secondary schools in 1975-76 was 11 percent, compared with 15 percent in 1970-71.
