It was the investigator's concern to discover

1) to what extent the selected sixteen Iranian middle-class social and moral values were present in the content of the elementary reading textbooks currently used in Iran,

2) with what frequency and level of intensity the values were presented, and

3) was there a time-ordered developmental sequence of the identified social and moral values from lower to upper grade levels?

Observation Of Training Room Stimuli In Determining Stimulus Control And Transfer Of Training, David Micheal Lietzke

Ten developmentally disabled children participated in an assessment of stimulus control and transfer of training. Each subject was taught to perform a simple, nonverbal, imitative task in a training room, and transfer to a novel setting was assessed. During training, subjects were video-taped in order to determine how often each visual stimulus in the training room was looked at. After an initial transfer t est each subject participated in a test of the stimulus control acquired by visual stimuli from the training room. Among the variety of components comprising the PSI package originally described by Keller (1968) is the use of proctors which permit immediate scoring, tutoring, and personal-social interactions. Recent research has indicated that immediate scoring may not be an essential proctor function. However, personal-social interactions and tutoring may affect student academic performance and consumer satisfaction. Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of the personal-social aspect of proctoring.
