The purpose of this non-experimental quantitative study was to determine the effect global experiences have on undergraduate students’ self-confidence, cultural awareness, and career choice. The research took place at a single research site, a private, faith-based university in the Southeastern United States. Students who had participated in a global experience, such as a mission trip or a study abroad experience, were invited to complete the researcher-created survey, the Global Experience Exit Survey. The data from 59 undergraduate students was analyzed using SPSS, specifically one sample t-tests. The results indicated statistically significant findings for all three subconstructs. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of gender, teaching styles, student cultural awareness, professor’s accent, and ethnicity on students’ perceptions of foreign professors at a Historically Black College and University. Multiple regression was used for the analysis of this study. The predictor variables were analyzed through a pilot study to ensure that they were related to the dependent or criterion variable, as required of multiple regression models. This applied dissertation was designed to determine the effectiveness of the Middle School Teacher Training Intervention on the application of culturally relevant instruction and classroom management instructions by teachers in a Title I middle school in the southeastern United States. This school lacked culturally relevant instruction and behavior management, despite its teachers having undergone the training program. The students in this study have participated in semester long study abroad during fall 2016, spring 2017, or fall 2017 semesters. For some this was their first time travelling abroad. Seven White females, who were born and reared in Georgia, participated in the study.
