The phenomenon of faculty who utilize contemplative pedagogy in the helping professions is a topic rarely discussed in the literature. In my review of the literature, I have found only one dissertation on faculty perspectives, one dissertation on individuals in higher education, and one study that used the perspective of faculty as the primary data. While this information is valuable, it is not context-specific research on how faculty in the helping professions experience practicing contemplative pedagogy. Student loan debt is one of the most pressing issues in the United States today. The rate of student loan debt in the United States continues to rise year after year, and the country is experiencing a crisis of increased student loan debt. A program that started with a budget of $15 million in 1965 to expand access to higher education has increased exponentially to over $1.5 trillion in student loan debt today. Due to the dialectical dilemma between meeting the demands of the managed health care industry through the adherence to the medical model while promoting an emphasis on wellness, the counseling profession does not promote a consistent definition of sexuality. Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach from a constructivist lens, this study was conducted to examine the construct "sexuality" and "sexuality counseling" from counselors' perspectives. One synchronous online focus group and two online individual interviews were conducted with counselors predominantly in the Southeastern United States. The purpose of this study was to determine the counseling role of the seminary teacher. Answers to the following were sought:
1. Are there significant differences in the counseling role of the seminary teacher as seen by members of stake presidencies and bishops, and as seen by seminary teachers themselves?
2. Is there a consensus among teachers and Church leaders concerning the counseling role of the seminary teacher?
3. What is the counseling role of the seminary teacher?
The following conclusions were drawn:

The hypotheses tested in this study are concerned with the efficacy of different methods of trying to aid underachievers. Specifically they are: 1. There is no difference in academic achievement as reflected in grade-point-average between students who received group counseling, special study instruction and no special treatment. 2. There is no difference in study skills as reflected by the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (Work Study Skills subtest) between students who received group counseling, special study instruction, and no special treatment. 3.
