The purpose of the project was to develop an Internet resource for high school teachers who teach higher level chemistry, which includes organic chemistry. This Organic Chemistry WebQuest will foster a student-directed learning environment that will enable students to do two things: (1) students will learn basic and organic chemistry nomenclature and be able to write chemical equations involving organic molecules, and (2) students will be able to use various technologies to present items to their peers and others.

One group of adult learners consists of the ESL students who attend adult school or community-based English programs. Adult Learning Outcomes Based On Course Delivery Methodology, Timothy Edward Jenkins

This study compared student satisfaction and academic performance in online and face-to-face classes. 105 ITT Technical Institute students who were simultaneously enrolled in one online course and two on-campus courses were surveyed and interviewed. Factors examined included student to instructor communication, student to student interaction, content selection for online courses and course management for online courses. Sixty-four percent of the students did not pass their online courses and expressed dissatisfaction with the learning process. Course components and processes that could be improved were identified.

Investigates how teachers evaluate WebQuests in an effort to describe and identify a common, generalizable rubric that new users of WebQuests could use. The investigation included how often the teachers who were surveyed used WebQuests in the classroom, and what these teachers used to evaluate WebQuests. Examines whether teachers are using rubrics they had created themselves, or WebQuest rubrics that are provided for them.
