Rebecca is a novel written by Daphne Du Maurier, in which the main characters are women. This paper focuses on the only male point of view in the novel, Maxim de Winter’s. He was Rebecca’s husband and he is the spouse of the current Mrs. de Winter. He is also Mrs. Danver’s landlord, Beatrice’s brother, and Mrs. Van Hopper’s acquaintance.
