This article offers insights on course design elements and assessment strategies creating experiences and measures for social responsibility learning in architectural design education. The learning, a least considered and most overlooked concept in architecture, is where most design pedagogies fall short in educating. The following questions frame the study: What are some useful tactics to make community-based learning integrations more successful? What are some techniques to help measuring social responsibility outcomes? After mapping the literature, explaining the context, and analyzing the process, the article looks into applied assessment tools and strategies.
