This study was conducted to examine the effects of positive specific feedback and positive general feedback on the bowling scores of subjects enrolled in two beginning bowling classes. Experimental groups were formed from two intact bowling classes, and a group of fifteen volunteers who made up the control group. The PSF group which contained twenty-eight subjects, was provided with positive specific feedback throughout the course of the study. The PGF group which contained thirty-five subjects, was provided with positive general feedback throughout the course of the study. The process of change implementation and the measurement of concerns of those involved in change using the C.B.A.M. model have been the topics of many studies conducted during the past two decades. Peer coaching is a relative newcomer, yet has been the focus of several studies. During the selection and retention process in a medical record technology program, it is advantageous to identify those students who will fulfill the program's course requirements, as well as subsequently pass the accreditation examination. Graduates of such a program at Wbstern Kentucky University were studied to identify these demoaraphic and academic indicators. Using a stepwise multiple regression analysis, the variables of high school grade point average (GPA), college GPA, and composite ACT score were found to be significantly related to medical record GPA. Data on the handweaving program at the Quicksand Craft Center in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky were compiled and analyzed. Four areas--history of the craft program, business organization and financial structure, weave patterns of goods woven and sold by the craft center, and weavers employed in the program --were examined to assess the success of the program in the local community. Factors in the four areas examined contributed to the success of the program. The benevolence, perseverance, and co-operation of the founders, directors and community members involved with the craft center have been largely responsible for the continued success …
