This study aimed at identifying the impact of the length of approaching step on some kinematics variables in the skill of flying front somersault on the floor gymnastics mat among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan. The researchers used the descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study nature and objectives. The study sample consisted of ( 3 ) students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan who were chosen as a purposive sample.
