Mentoring programs can provide a foundation so that employees can improve their overall career development and satisfaction. When an organization has even an informal mentoring program, it encourages employees to support one another by learning from each other. Many organizations yearn for an "empowering leadership" capable of transforming organizations to high performance, quality and productivity, but few achieve this goal. This review investigated Jesus' "empowering leadership" and what made it so transformative that, even after some 2000 years, his organization is more or less the longest and best-run especially in comparison with many other famous organizations that have come and gone. Maslow, Herzberg, Peters, Kovach, Vroom, Blanchard, and many others have identified the critical role recognition has played in motivating employees and rewarding them for their accomplishments. Numerous studies have indicated that organizations with high employee satisfaction report higher customer satisfaction scores, higher productivity, and higher profits. The Jewish Home of Rochester sought the help of Fulcrum Consulting to develop leadership skill s in management. Donald Kirkpatrick is generally credited with developing one key conceptual model for training evaluation. The first three of Kirkpatrick's four level evaluation model was used as the basis of the design for evaluating the organizational impact of the leadership program implemented at the Jewish Home of Rochester. The participants of this study were chosen at random by the Vice President of Human Resources. Based on the results of the focus groups and questionnaires, leadership has improved at the Jewish Home of Rochester.

This qualitative case study focused on the Impact of appearance in relation to perception, confidence and job performance. It used five professional participants from various industries in Rochester, NY to investigate the perceptions and impact of attractiveness during the interview process. The following are key themes that were found : ~ Non verbal communication is paramount.
