Purpose
The purpose of this study was to determine the ongoing misconceptions about mutations, an area of rising public interest, among graduate nursing students.
Design
Using a prospective cohort design, graduate students entering a public university in the Fall of 2014 were followed to graduation in the Fall of 2016.
Methods
Knowledge of mutations was assessed with an anonymous pre-test and post-test using three items from the Genomic Nursing Concept Inventory - 2011 beta version developed by Ward. The key to these considerations are the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP) taught in health science curriculums. Teaching and learning anatomy in a DPT program poses a challenge to students and faculty because of the volume of material needed as foundational information for a PT curriculum. The aim of this study was to determine if a round-robin model of instruction in anatomy and applied anatomy labs, is more effective to meet the course learning objectives compared to a more traditional, separate class instruction.

Occupational and Physical Therapists are in a unique role, in which they can assist in the identification and rehabilitation of impairments. The collaboration between UCSD and USAHS is preparing students with the knowledge and skills to assess older persons for driving abilities.
The current content delivery allows the TREDS program to be available to the Gerontology course offering for other USAHS campus locations; and has the potential to be accessed by other institutions of higher education offering courses in Gerontology.

The reasons why a physical therapist assistant student does not advance in a technical program are multifactorial. The curriculum design of a program is one of many factors that can potentially mitigate against students’ progression in a program. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of five life skill components of Brolin’s (1979) Life Centered Career Education (LCCE) program in Basic Education classrooms in school districts in the province of British Columbia (BC), Canada. Researchers confirmed that the use of feedback assists with the improvement of students’ confidence and performance. Multiple studies focus on the provision and acceptance of feedback; however, it was not known if, or how, students internalized the feedback to apply it successfully. Since there is a difference between providing feedback and the interpretation of its true message, this phenomenon was studied to add empirical knowledge regarding students’ feedback interpretation. This qualitative study explores the perceptions of how students interpret information received from Level II fieldwork educators and what meanings students attributed to the feedback.
