This study was accomplished to further the understanding of the phenomenon of cynicism in 3 conservative Christian secondary schools in the Midwest. The study consisted of interviews with 12 secondary school teachers from 3 schools in 3 different states and was designed to discover more about the definition, attributes, causes, and effects of cynicism in the context of Christian schools from the perspective of the teachers. Participants did not believe there was a large amount of cynicism in their schools.
