Right to Education legislation has brought physical therapists and adapted physical educators together in the public school setting to serve the child with special needs. Investigation of the role responsibilities of these professionals would facilitate not only communication between the groups, but also understanding of their functions by other school personnel and administrators. We analyzed questionnaires returned by 79 physical therapists and 30 adapted physical educators to determine areas of uniqueness or similarity in 18 identified role responsibilities performed by these two groups. O trabalho discute o efeito que as reformas educacionais efetuadas entre 1838 e 1951 teve sobre a composição e a estabilidade do currículo secundário brasileiro. Introduz o Coeficiente de Equivalência, que quantifica o grau de similaridade entre pares sucessivas de currículos, permitindo a identificação das reformas que resultaram em maior e menor mudança curricular.

The paper describes the effect that the educational reforms instituted between 1838 and 1951 had on the composition and the stability of the Brazilian secondary school curriculum.
