This article is devoted to the study of the language of newspaper headlines, it examines the lexico-stylistic and grammatical-syntactic features of English titles and the difficulties of their translation. The functional and linguistic features of newspaper headlines allow them to be distinguished into a special genre of newspaper style. The headings concentrate many lexical and grammatical features of the newspaper style, they most clearly reflect the characteristic features of the language of the newspaper.
