The need for an educational technology manual was researched. Based on research a resource handbook for understanding and using technology in the classroom was in demand. In order to meet the demand for a technology training guide for teachers, a detailed handbook was created. The handbook includes information on the following aspects of educational technology; desktop computers, laptop computers, miniature computing, visual technologies, educational software, accessibility software, the Internet, video technology, and WebQuests. The handbook is intended to be used as a technology resource for teachers K-12 in any State/Country.

The purpose of this study was to survey the secondary schools of Oregon to determine the status of audio-visual in-service education programs. It is the intent of the researcher to select from current literature general principles directly related to audio-visual in-service education. After identifying the principles through a careful study of the literature, a questionnaire will be constructed to determine how well the principles are being met by Oregon secondary schools.

Through this study the writer will attempt to: (1) evaluate selected instructional materials for teaching electronics that are available through the facilities of Central Washington State College, University of Washington, and Washington State University; (2) develop a list of those materials worthy of use in teaching electronics in grades seven through twelve; and (3) make recommendations for improvements in this area.

The purpose of this study was to determine teachers’ opinions about (1) the relative educational value of the materials brought to school by intermediate grade pupils, (2) teachers’ attitudes toward the bringing of these materials, (3) the comparative value of these materials in terms of behavioral changes in pupils, and (4) the value of using pupils as a source of audio-visual materials.
