Second course in a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors.
With a pre-requisite of CHEM 1211: Principles of Chemistry I, this course is part of a two-semester sequence covering principles and applications of chemistry. The course is designed to help students apply simplified models to complex systems to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A major goal of this course is to help students become self-directed learners thereby preparing them for whatever career path they choose.
