INTRODUCTION: Upper body strength is one of the most important factors in American football and thus tested frequently. However, strength may come at the cost of mobility as recent studies have reported an inverse relationship between shoulder range of motion (ROM) and strength, with an increase in strength causing a decrease in ROM (Shitara et al., 2022). Hamstring injuries are one of the most common injuries sustained in professional football with 800+ hamstring injuries per year. These hamstring injuries often occur between late swing (eccentric contraction) and early ground contact. PURPOSE: To investigate the correlation of eccentric hamstring strength to muscle volume across positional groups. METHODS: Athletes were divided into three homogeneous groups based on position (big (e.g., linemen), skill (e.g., receivers), combo (e.g., linebackers)). The aim of this study was to present the characteristics of the actions efficiency in elite goalkeepers. 54 observations of 25 goalkeepers participating in 27 matches of the World and the European Championships and the Africa Cup of Nations and Copa America held in the years 2014–2019 were included. The study applied a method of observation. Game data were registered on a self-developed observation sheet. Goalkeepers’ activity, effectiveness, and reliability with a view to implementing the objectives of the game were analyzed in offensive and in defense. This systematic review was conducted to (1) characterize the main elements of studies of velocity-based training (VBT) (e.g., training protocols) conducted in soccer, (2) summarize the main physiological and physical effects of VBT on soccer players, and (3) provide future directions for research. Methods: A systematic review of Cochrane Library, EBSCO, PubMed, Scielo, Scopus, SPORTDiscus, and Web of Science databases was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The study was conducted by analysis of basic technical and tactical game. Material/Methods: The observation method in the form of a kinematic game analysis system was used to collect necessary data. It aimed at longitudinal investigation into the dynamics of Polish fans’ emotions related to the performance of their national football team. Background: The aim of this study was to identify and compare the efficiency of action-effective football players in one against one situations (1x1). Material/Methods: The game of winning teams’ players was observed in four matches and two semi-final meetings of the European Championships tournament in 2004 and 2008. Visual recording was monitored using a freeze-frame function and data about the players’ game were recorded on observation sheet by Szwarc. Background: The aim of this study was to determine physical activity profiles of the main referee and the assistant referee during official championship matches. Material/Methods: Motor activity of 10 referees and 10 assistant referees was studied during 10 matches of the championship rank in the period from April to November 2016. Using a POLAR M400 heart rate monitor with a built-in GPS sensor, the total distance covered during refereeing, the mean and the maximum speed, and the intensity of the refereeing effort were analyzed. Material and methods: Birth date distributions of football players from youth Polish National Teams (Under 15 – Under 19) and the senior Polish National Team were compared. This study investigated the relationship between upper extremity strength and performance in amputee players. Material and methods: Twenty amputee players participated in this study.
