RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of December 14, 1974 had an article about curriculum reform, an exhibition at Woods-Gerry and an essay about four photographs. Also included was an article about the Sculpture and Ceramic departments. A recipe, comics, letters to the editor and events for RISD students were also mentioned.

RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of December 7, 1973 had an article with John Udvardy who was in charge of RISD Foundation Studies. There also were articles about the ceramics department with photos of students working and the painting department and students work. Also there was a short article about RISD housing and the need for student feedback. A recipe, photos, comics and events for RISD students were also in this issue.

RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of November 30, 1973 had an article about the Graphic Design department. Also there was an article about the elections of the RISD student board with the hope that communication would improve between the students and faculty. Charles Knightstep was born in Jackson County, WV, but resided in Mason County WV, for the majority of his life. Mr. Knightstep reminiscences about his life growing up on a farm. He describes the process of drying fruits and vegetables and burying apples and potatoes for use during the winter. He explains how his grandmother and mother made lye soap, cottage cheese, and apple butter. He also describes courting his wife and visiting her by horse and buggy. Mr. Knightstep worked for the Kanawha and Michigan railroad beginning in 1915, when he was 15 years old. He describes the changes …
