Florida state university libraries that share an ALEPH ILS collaborated with the Florida Academic Library Services Cooperative (FALSC) to design collection reports that fit ACRL reporting requirements. This poster session shows how the reports were developed and why both ILS and MARC codes are necessary to map to ACRL report categories.

With their passion for information literacy and critical thinking, library staff are natural advocates for evidence–based practice. The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers require knowledge and understanding of research across all career stages (Standard 1.2). If the role of the library is to ensure the community has the resources and knowledge it needs to improve learning, then an important part of this role is to ensure teachers and leaders have access to research related to learning. This presentation will present practical assessment resources used by instruction librarians. It will feature assessment resources we use most often; ones we keep in our assessment 'utility belts.' This 25 minute presentation will broadly cover how these resources are used in real world instructional settings. Types of resources presented will include books, websites, and community resources. We will provide time for discussion and for attendees to share their preferred assessment resources.

Background – In 2017 the School of Medicine Fremantle (SoMF) began moving towards a paradigm shift to optimise the learning and decision functions of assessments.

Methods – Consistent with best practice of first doing, then watching and thinking, a multi-year (2017 – 2020) action research project has been in place alongside the staged roll-out of programmatic assessment for learning (PA) framework in the SoMF since 2017.
