It was the purpose of this study to compare verbal concepts of color of both seeing and blind children. This comparison was undertaken to see if the blind child has both emotional-psychological and physical-descriptive concepts of color which are similar to those of seeing children when expressed verbally. This was done by interviewing a group of blind children and a group of seeing children and asking them what they thought and felt concerning color.
