Informative Physical Training Tests For The Selection Of Children For Football, Sherzod Saidovich Ermatov May 2022

Informative Physical Training Tests For The Selection Of Children For Football, Sherzod Saidovich Ermatov

Eurasian Journal of Sport Science

Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of informational tests on physical fitness to select children for football.

Methods: When monitoring the strength and speed-strength indicators of young football players, a special device was used, the "BEDRO", which made it possible to determine the following groups of indicators:

Fmах – the maximum value of the explosive force of the muscles in the explosive isometric mode;

J - the coefficient characterizing the explosive strength of muscles in the isometric mode; J = Fмах / t (kg/s);

Q – starting power. Q = 0.5 Fmах / t1 (kg/s); …

Endurance Skills Of Young Team Game Players, Pawel Chmura, Kamil Swierzko, Justyna Andrzejewska, Marek Popowczak, Andrzej Dudkowski, Marek Konefal, Andrzej Rokita Mar 2022

Endurance Skills Of Young Team Game Players, Pawel Chmura, Kamil Swierzko, Justyna Andrzejewska, Marek Popowczak, Andrzej Dudkowski, Marek Konefal, Andrzej Rokita

Baltic Journal of Health and Physical Activity

Background: The aim of the present study was to assess physiological-biochemical reactions to incremental exercise loads and the levels and development of endurance skills in young male and female team game players. Material/Methods: The study sample comprised 370 soccer, handball, basketball and volleyball players (186 girls and 184 boys) from the Lower Silesian Regional Teams in Poland, aged 14.20 ±1.37 years (boys) and 13.90 ±1.15 years (girls). The exercise test consisted of the shuttle run Beep Test for estimation of aerobic fitness. The assessment of endurance skills was based on the length of the covered distance in the Beep Test …

Athletics Training Programme For Children Studying In Sports Schools In Poland, Marek Fostiak, Tomasz Frolowicz, Malgorzata Pogorzelska, Joanna Klonowska Mar 2022

Athletics Training Programme For Children Studying In Sports Schools In Poland, Marek Fostiak, Tomasz Frolowicz, Malgorzata Pogorzelska, Joanna Klonowska

Baltic Journal of Health and Physical Activity

The resolution of any dilemmas related to the implementation of the curriculum must take into account its objectives, generally speaking, developing the readiness of students to participate independently in health-motivated, sporting and aesthetically-motivated physical activity and to take health promoting measures. This article describes the assumptions of the original modular physical education programme for the first stage of education in the aspect of track and field. The physical education programme was designed for use in classes where the number of hours of compulsory physical education classes has been extended or for work with students with special physical abilities.

Inheritance And Number Of Genes Affecting Quantitative Traits Within F2 Maize Populations, D. H. Schmidt, A. R. Hallauer Jan 1995

Inheritance And Number Of Genes Affecting Quantitative Traits Within F2 Maize Populations, D. H. Schmidt, A. R. Hallauer

Journal of the Iowa Academy of Science: JIAS

Populations derived from crosses of elite genotypes are commonly used in plant breeding programs. Knowledge of the genetic variation among individuals and their progenies within F2 populations is essential for effective selection of important traits. The genetic variation and number of effective factors affecting the expression of quantitative traits within 30 F2 maize (Zea mays L.) populations were determined by different methods suggested for study of F2 populations. Estimates of heritability and number of effective factors varied among F2 populations for each trait, primarily because of the differences in trait expression between parents of crosses and the environmental effects upon …

Genetic Variation Among And Within S1 Progenies Of Maize, R. J. Getschman, A. R. Hallauer Jan 1991

Genetic Variation Among And Within S1 Progenies Of Maize, R. J. Getschman, A. R. Hallauer

Journal of the Iowa Academy of Science: JIAS

Inbred line development consumes a great portion of the breeder's time and resources in maize (Zea mays L.) breeding programs. Source populations for line development often are developed by selfing F2 populations developed from elite line crosses. Visual selection is practiced among and within selfed progenies during the selection process for one or two generations before evaluated in testcrosses for combining ability. Effective discrimination among and within inbred and testcross progenies depends on the amount of genetic variation present. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of selection among and within S1 progenies developed from crosses …
