The integration of social media into Chicago Baptist Churches congregants recently increased over the last few years. This research study allowed church leaders to determine if social media was an effective media outlet in Baptist churches on the Southside of Chicago. The evaluation research approach was to assess the effectiveness of social media, in particular Facebook and Instagram. Within this conceptual framework, the researcher was able to produced flexible, fixed, and multi-design strategies to abstract a full spectrum of evaluation. Introduction: Neurodevelopmental disabilities have been increasing over time, therefore there is an amplified need for psychometrically sound measures of psychosocial well-being to assist in proper diagnosis and treatment planning. This study aimed to evaluate the test-retest reliability and internal consistency of six measures of psychosocial well-being in a group of adolescents diagnosed with developmental disorders. Methods: Thirty-five adolescent students’ ages 14 to 22 with developmental disabilities, 35 parents, and 3 teachers anwered surveys measuring psychosocial well-being. A Program Evaluation Of The Parent Academy For One School District, Kathleen Gordon

ABSTRACT

This program evaluation project addresses issues relating to low-parent attendance at one district’s parent academy. The process I used to gather information from the parents, administrators, board members, and business partners included individual surveys and interviews. The results indicated the biggest problems for mediocre parent engagement centered on transportation and the lack of parent involvement in the planning process. Improving the strategic planning process of the parent academy was the dominant need I identified based on my Change Leadership Plan. Included is a policy amendment regarding parent involvement in matters related to student achievement.

This research delves into experiences with reasoning and selected criteria for choosing the right school for their children. Beginning with a series of vignettes that assist with recognition of parental empowerment, this research archives acknowledgement of their own positionality when it comes to making life changing decisions.
