Charles C. Chapman College Lectures

In this speech Chapman uses the metaphor of a shepherd and his flock to describe the ideal relationship between a minister and his congregation. He says that pastors must be active in managing their flock and be willing to go out of their way to save a "lost sheep". A minister should also call on his members at home and make a great effort to have a personal connection to each and every one.
