Este proyecto es una investigación-acción para abordar el problema de la falta de recursos educativos para los niños, niñas, y adolescentes (NNA) migrantes. El objetivo fue crear una guía didáctica de talleres para NNA migrantes en albergues, diseñada para ser dirigida por voluntarios. La guía está fundamentada en la investigación de las experiencias de los migrantes que pasan por México, las características de los NNA, y sensibilidad a los afectos del trauma psicológico en los NNA migrantes. Fifty years later, Chilean society still continues to struggle with underlying political cleavages resulting from the complex historical effects of the Pinochet dictatorship (1973-1989) which can be seen in educational curricula that address this historical period of Chilean History. Studies conducted on primary educational systems note the lack of discussion or full disclosure of the events that transpired during the military government, emphasizing a type of ‘memory regime’ based on omission and silence about aspects of this period, yet there is a lack in post-secondary studies of this same phenomenon. The current education system in Chile has adopted a multicultural neoliberal model, in which education both as an institution and as a practice is conducted with neoliberal ideologies. Mapuche movements in Chile have largely battled against neoliberalism, which operates in conjunction with colonial practices. The identity of Mapuche people thus operates on a contradiction of neoliberal practices. This paper, centralizing critical educational literature and three interviews with Mapuche university students, strives to analyze this tension between Mapuche identity and student experiences under this neoliberal context. Esta investigación se centra en la implementación de la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (EIB) en la Unidad Educativa Amauta Ñanpi, ubicada en la Amazonía ecuatoriana. La EIB fue desarrollada como manera de luchar contra el olvido de las lenguas y conocimientos ancestrales de los pueblos originarios de Ecuador; por lo tanto, la EIB toma como base el principio de que la educación debe tanto surgir de como reforzar las comunidades — humanas y no-humanas — servidas por sus instituciones. En Amauta Ñanpi, esto implica un fuerte vínculo con la cosmovisión y lengua kichwa y con la selva misma, entidad considerada viva. …

This study examines disability in Chile as a possible new social movement, seeking to answer the question of whether a movement for disability rights exists and if so, what form it takes. Disability has historically been seen as an imperfection, an impairment, and something to cure if at all possible, but beginning in the mid-twentieth century, groups of disabled people have advocated for a changing perception of their own abilities, their place in society, and how society itself contributes to the disabling of people. Perú es un país multicultural y multilingüe, con una historia rica, especialmente con respecto a sus poblaciones indígenas. Específicamente, Perú tiene una población grande de quechua hablantes que viven principalmente en la región andina en el país. Más de tres millones de personas hablan quechua en Perú—el 13 por ciento de la población del país. Con un número tan significativo, el peligro que rodea al quechua puede no ser aparente, pero sin embargo existe.
