It was the purpose of this study to determine whether a textbook designated for use with slow learners was a more suitable teaching device than the regularly assigned textbook. It was the hypothesis of this study that slow learner mathematics students would show no significant differences in achievement due to the utilization of different texts.

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of two methods of reinforcing learning gained from programmed material in seventh grade geography classes. The means used for evaluating effectiveness were: (1) comparing retention of the factual knowledge of the material by students exposed to the two methods immediately after completing the material, and, after a time lapse of six months, and (2) comparing the ability of students to transfer their factual knowledge of the material immediately after completing the material, and, after a time lapse of six months.
