The study examined the extent of users’ satisfaction with reference services in tertiary institutions in Imo State, Nigeria, the relationship with referral services, inter-library loan and current awareness services with users’ satisfaction. This study investigated the effect of academic library on pre-service teachers’ academic achievement. Based on the purpose of the study two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Quasi experimental design was adopted for this study. The main aim of this study was to analyze the contents and interactivity of academic library portals in India. The study was confined to a hundred selected academic library websites. A checklist along with a data sheet was used as the tool for data collection and Microsoft Excel was used as the tool for data analysis. The analysis revealed that the websites have an almost identical pattern of contents and interactivity. The majority of the websites used interactive applications. This study has been aligned to examine the effect of the role of the academic library on students’ learning at the university level. The administration of academic libraries has been found to facilitate university students in the global south and global north. For this study, a cross-sectional survey has been conducted at the Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat, Pakistan.
