Pancasila is mentioned as the basis of the philosophy of the State. Understanding the narrow and limited meaning of Pancasila has resulted in polemics in the life of the nation and state, especially in Pancasila education. This study aims to analyze the debate and dynamics of Pancasila education from the aspects of legitimacy, recognition, and institutionalization. This research is philosophical research, using qualitative research methods through literature review. The analysis in this study used critical discourse analysis. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi berbagai istilah (terminologi) yang berkaitan dengan praktik kewarganegaraan atau pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang digunakan di Indonesia setelah runtuhnya rezim Orde Baru. Ia berpendapat bahwa penggunaan istilah tersebut agak serampangan karena mereka kurang dibahas dan diperebutkan di kalangan akademis. Akibatnya, agak membingungkan ketika pemerintah Indonesia berniat untuk memperkenalkan kembali Pendidikan Pancasila baru-baru ini. Makalah ini menyarankan bahwa penggunaan istilah-istilah tersebut secara konsisten dan sistematis akan memungkinkan kita untuk menempatkan Pancasila secara lebih proporsional dalam "peta" Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Indonesia (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, PKn).

Generasi bangsa harus mampu mengimplementasikan nilai- nilai Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup, hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara dan lembaga, salah satunya yaitu di pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aktivitas pesantren dalam menanamkan nilai- nilai Pancasila pada kehidupan santri. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Kesimpulannya adalah santri di pesantren Syaikhona Moh. Cholil Bangkalan menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, sebagai sumber menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan sesamanya. Salah satunya melalui Pendidikan dan program- program pesantren yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pendidikan karakter kebangsaan Pancasila yang sesuai untuk diterapkan di sekolah menengah (SMP) berbasis pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu para guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) SMP berbasis pesantren yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sekolah yang dipilih adalah SMP yang memang kondusif untuk pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter bangsa Pancasila dan memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Pengumpulan data dengan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
