Essentially, project-based learning, currently referred to as a method for citizenship education in higher education, is rooted in the concept of civic engagement, which is the most critical determinant of success in transitioning to adult citizenship. Given the limited involvement of the younger generation in public life, which often remains tokenistic and lacks significant impact on change. With their current capacity, young citizens are considered insufficiently equipped to address the challenges of Indonesia's democratic transition, including the dissemination of disinformation and diminishing political efficacy. This research aims to describe the instillation of nationalism values in ubrug-based learning. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. The research results indicate that the ubrug method or role-playing in instilling nationalism can enhance the students' nationalist attitudes. Students not only portray characters in the story being presented but also can extract the values contained in the performing arts, especially those related to nationalism, which is the goal of the learning process using the ubrug method or role-playing. Citizenship education aims to cultivate intelligent and responsible citizens. One essential characteristic of a responsible citizen is their active engagement in civic duties, as demonstrated through their attitudes and behavior. This study examines the level of civic engagement among high school students in preserving local culture during the era of disruption. The research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach and collects data from high school students in Cianjur Regency, Indonesia, using a survey questionnaire. This research was aimed at describing the implementation of anti-corruption education on citizenship education through project citizen-based activity. It is descriptive inquiry conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. The result was that the implementation of anti-corruption education was conducted through studying problems relating corruption resulting in presentation panels consist of 4 sections namely problem, alternative policy, proposed solution, and action plan section. Through these activities, it was intended that students would acquired some desired attitudes such as honesty, care, self-help, discipline, responsibility, hard work, humbleness, courage and justice.
