I would like to present the educational applications to Adventist Education based on the human view of E. G. White who laid the philosophical foundation. According to the Chicago Center for Teaching, “planning a course is arguably the key ingredient in pedagogical success.” A great metaphor for course design is like planning a trip to some place you have never gone before. To get there efficiently, a good road map is a must; because without one the driver may end up there eventually but not without detours and missed directions. The great news for teachers is that there are many (20+) instructional design “maps” called models. The ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and SAM models are three of those models.
