This collection consists of the medical equipment used by Dr. Samuel B. Muller in the Nursing Department during his stay at Pittsburg State University.
Dr. Samuel B. Muller was born in 1905 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1932, Dr. Muller received his Bachelors of Science, and in 1934, a Doctor in Medicine from the University of Kansas. In 1934 he married Cordelia White. He practiced medicine in Southeast Kansas following the marriage. In 1941, Dr. Muller began working at the Royal Oak Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
