This bibliographic research seeks to identify the existing literature about English Language Teaching (ELT) for children with cognitive disabilities in the last ten years at a national and international level, through the exploration, classification, and characterization of 50 documents. The method used was documentary research and the approach was qualitative in order to contribute to the knowledge of education of professionals who may encounter this type of population in an ELT class.
