The basic problem chosen for this study is "Possible Solutions to Certain Problems Arising in the Production of School-Produced Motion Pictures." Specific problems arise in any medium of expression, and it is wise to expect problems to arise when locally produced audio-visual aids in the form of motion pictures are considered by a school. The paper resulting from this study does not supply all of the answers to all of the problems, nor does it necessarily supply the best answers to any specific problem arising. It is the purpose of this study to determine the reactions of Yakima elementary educators toward television as an aid to instruction. This shall be determined relative to (1) the attitude of those educators toward educational television in general and (2) the opinions of those educators relative to how television may best be used as an instrument of classroom instruction.
