Games are not just for extracurricular activities with your friends. Games can be used effectively as a way to assist learners in better understanding the materials for a course. Games use a part of our brain that is known to help us remember key components of concepts and theories. Learners also get so caught up in the game that learning becomes fun and not just drudgery. Games in courses are effective at all levels of education and should not be limited.
