This collection is an artificially created collection from different donors, consisting primarily of scrapbooks, programs, and other ephemera related to Huntington High School. Ephemera includes a 1920 issue of the Tatler student newspaper, commencement programs, and materials created during various class reunions for the classes of 1921, 1928, 1929, 1937, and 1945. Scrapbooks for the class of 1921 reunions and Myrtle R. Cooke’s “The Girl Graduate’s Scrapbook” include extensive amounts of photographs and printed material related to the reunions and Huntington High School respectively. Cooke’s scrapbook also includes unrelated family materials.

Subjects mentioned are typing, clothing, shorthand, English, and history, among others. This collection includes materials related to the life of Maxine Adkins Stewart beginning with her life at Huntington High School as a member of the class of 1928 and ending with her work at Vinson High School. Materials include her high school yearbooks, programs, and other ephemera from Huntington High School as well as materials from her fiftieth reunion, and ephemera materials from Vinson High School such as programs and ticket stubs. This collection consists primarily of aerial photographs of Huntington taken on May 2, 1972 at 3500 feet. Other later additions to the collection, in significantly smaller amounts, include Huntington East High School memorabilia belonging to Richard S. Mobayed, unidentified group photographs, a photo of the Owens-Illinois Glass Company Plant, a limited amount of correspondence from Louis’ daughter Carole Eddins and son Richard S. Mobayed, programs from Louis’ Huntington High School reunions, and a diploma for Louella Hatfield from 1927.
