Academic Chairpersons Conference Proceedings
Chairs literally are in the middle of everything important going on in their departments. Many demands are directed at them from their department colleagues, students, and higher administration, regardless of whether sufficient time or resources exist to meet the demands. This hands-on, participatory workshop will help participants discuss and reflect on these inevitable stressors, with an emphasis on their preferred stress prevention and stress reduction skills.
