The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of academic advising on students in exploratory studies. This study focused on the impact of academic advising on developing a purpose through exploratory studies. It also focused on effectiveness of academic advisors in guiding students to select a major that fulfills students' interests and needs as well as students satisfaction regarding academic advising guidance in exploratory studies.
