Ethical leadership with regards to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and stakeholder management impacts institutional and departmental culture. Formalized leadership ethics and compliance initiatives improve institutional structures. The importance of graduate leadership that embraces ethics and compliance programs ensures adherence to policies set forth by institutions and mitigates bias. Stakeholder management is key because adherence allows leadership to develop strategic plans with stakeholders in mind, while decreasing quality issues. As a result, there is value to executing stakeholder management plans within graduate education.

The purpose of this chapter was to examine whether the six variables of graduate educational quality predict intentional education practice (IEP) (teaching style) in United States graduate university programs. The issue is that graduate student engagement, student satisfaction, and matriculation diminish without IEP. This chapter presents a conceptual analysis of the current trends for research paradigmatic perspectives used in doctoral social justice research approaches. The chapter offers a concise resource for doctoral scholars and their research supervisors to establish and illustrate a relevant paradigmatic perspective aligned with the research method and design choice to view the dissertation research problem in doctoral social justice research. This chapter presents a model to improve the online teaching effectiveness of K-12 science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) educators who teach underrepresented minority (URM) students. Further, K-12 institutions must consider the imperative by creating a STEAM professional advocacy network (SPAN) through which the online teaching effectiveness of K-12 STEAM teachers is improved. Ultimately, SPAN seeks to broaden the participation of URM students in STEAM from high-need, racially diverse learning environments nationwide.
