Generative Ai And Opportunities For Feminist Classroom Assignments, Sarah F. Small
Generative Ai And Opportunities For Feminist Classroom Assignments, Sarah F. Small
Feminist Pedagogy
Handwringing about ChatGPT and generative AI has penetrated teaching circles. Many educators are concerned it will disrupt education in negative ways. However, I introduce two approaches to assignments in which students work in tandem with AI to develop better understandings of reflexivity and feminist epistemology. I believe, if we are intentional in our teaching practice, our educational responses to generative AI can be in feminist directions.
Analyzing The Text Contents Produced By Chatgpt: Prompts, Feature-Components In Responses, And A Predictive Model, Leping Liu
Journal of Educational Technology Development and Exchange (JETDE)
ChatGPT is a large language model that uses deep learning to produce natural language and generate intelligent and relevant responses to user prompts. It comes to the field of education as an inevitable wave. Educators have to deal with it and figure out appropriate ways to use it and produce positive learning. This study explores the use of ChatGPT from the perspective of front-end users, focusing on the text-content that ChatGPT can produce for learners to learn new knowledge (e.g., a concept, a theory, or an application). The sample of this study consists of 253 ChatGPT text responses derived from …

The Unstoppable Rise Of Ai: An Interview With Dr. John Sanford, Spencer Burrows, And Anna Birchler, Brandon Powell, Spencer Burrows
International Journal of Emerging and Disruptive Innovation in Education : VISIONARIUM
AI can both help and hurt the education field (higher education and secondary education). Despite Hollywood’s depiction of artificial intelligence solely in the form of killer death robots decades into the future, AI is much more versatile - and far more dangerous - than any killer robot could be. As artificial intelligence develops at a breakneck pace, its effect on our society will increase exponentially.
Integrating Artificial Intelligence Into Creativity Education: Developing A Creative Problem-Solving Course For Higher Education, Selma Dawani
Creativity and Change Leadership Graduate Student Master's Projects
This project aims to develop an introductory college course that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) process. Drawing on best practices for teaching CPS and the latest research of AI, the project outcomes are prototypes of a Master Course Development Document, Student Syllabus, and Lesson Plan with accompanying PowerPoint slides. The course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply AI techniques to the CPS process. This project aims to begin to bridge the gap between AI and CPS education, preparing students for the demands of the modern workforce while fostering interdisciplinary thinking.

Improving Critical Thinking In Written Assignments: Human Vs. Chatgpt Tutor In Socratic Questioning Intervention, Katia Martha
Improving Critical Thinking In Written Assignments: Human Vs. Chatgpt Tutor In Socratic Questioning Intervention, Katia Martha
Scripps Senior Theses
The purpose of the proposed study is to trial a short Socratic Questioning (SQ) intervention in the writing process, facilitated by either a human or ChatGPT tutor, and explore the effects that this may have on students’ critical thinking (CT), which will be coded from their written responses. Participants will be undergraduate college first years in the local California area who are fluent in English and have no learning disabilities. This study involves two visits, spaced a week apart, to gather pre- and post- test data for evaluating the effectiveness of the SQ intervention in improving CT. Both visits will …
