The study aimed to identify the degree of awareness of cybersecurity, and to reveal the reality of digital transformation and the relationship between them from the point of view of the supervisors of the Education Department in the Jazan region. With the rapid advancement of technology, digital competence has become a crucial aspect of professional development for educators. This article reviews relevant literature and summarizes the connotation, framework, and development strategies of teacher digital literacy in different countries. The aim is to promote the professional growth of teachers in the digital age, encouraging each educator to continually strive for “Excellence in teaching”. Furthermore, this research seeks to identify digital literacy development strategies and practices for various types of teachers.
