A trend in education for the past sixty years has been the gradual development of a variety of procedures involving parents in the education of children. Research that indicates the interdependence of the home and the school in educating children has been the major influence in the development of these programs. Today there is general agreement among educators that the home and school must work cooperatively to resolve children's educational problems. Today is an era of rapid social and technical change and the schools are faced with the problem of keeping pace to meet the challenge. This means that education must rely more and more upon new methods and innovations. In this paper, these new techniques used in teaching shall be referred to as curriculum change.
