This study examined standardized testing and its effects on African American students. The authors focused on three perspectives: access, equity, and achievement about students' academic success in their K-12 educational experiences and how the quality of their education and test scores impacted their college acceptance rate, respectively. The three perspectives are specific to the works of Dr. Asa G. Hilliard and Dr. Barbara A. Sizemore, both of whom were passionate about the academic success and progression of students of African descent. The main goals of this study were to determine if student growth mindset impacted achievement and motivation and to see if gender and ethnicity made a difference in the type of mindset a student possesses. The study was conducted in a suburban middle school in Georgia with a predominantly white population and above-average socio-economic status. Ninety-five students from four 7th grade social studies classes took part in the eight-week study. This study aimed at investigating the effect of a proposed learner- centered instructional program on Jordanian EFL tenth grade students’ achievement. The population of the study consisted of (374) tenth grade students in Jordanian public schools in Bani Kenaneh Directorate of Education in the academic year 2012/2013. Whitacre (2019) and Curtis (2017) found that participants’ efficacy impacted their writing instruction and ability to engage students. We share our experiences with a professional development program aimed to improve teacher efficacy and literacy of elementary teachers. In this professional learning network, the Study of Early Literacy (SOEL), a higher percentage of teachers reported to a Hanover Research survey that they felt less confident in teaching writing than other areas of literacy. This study aimed to examine the impact of self-learning table strategy K.W.L.H. On the achievement of the sixth grade students in chapter "Regular Fractions and Decimal Fractions" and their attitudes towards school mathematics.

The study has been conducted in the first semester (1438/1439AH), at King Khalid Bin Abdul-Aziz Primary School, in Arar, Saudi Arabia.
