The total leadership program at Cashmere High School was evaluated and a detailed outline and explanation of its' program was established. The evaluation provided Cashmere with a realistic view of its' entire leadership environment and the study resulted in a leadership structure guideline by which any secondary school could develop a positive leadership program.

The Relationship Between Sales And Service Performance By Group Insurance Representatives Who Perform Both Functions, Ralph F. Hagemeier

This descriptive study investigated the relationship between production service ratings and service performance ratings earned by the 60 group representatives assigned to its Midwest region by a large insurance company. Specifically, the study attempted to (a) collect data regarding the sales and service performance ratings earned by each member of the study group, (b) determine whether a relationship existed between the sales and service ratings for the total study group, and (c) determine whether a relationship existed between the sales and service ratings for those individuals within the study group to whom certain characteristics could be attributed.

The path-goal theory of leadership, based on an expectancy formulation of motivation, provides a potent schema for the investigation of the relationship between leader behavior and subordinates' satisfactions in the workplace. The inclusion of task related satisfactions has been dealt with as a contingency factor, but this study included the measurement of task design variables consistent with the task design literature.

The Development & Study Of A Competency-Based Vocational Education Drafting Program, Kenneth Mussnug

The purpose of this curriculum project was to develop, revise, and field test a competency based vocational drafting program which was accomplished in four phases. An existing CBVE drafting program, developed by this author, was revised prior to the field test. New modules and audio visual presentations were developed, the program was tested in two vocational programs, and the program evaluated again after the test.

Twelve modules were revised and one new module developed. Nine new slide tape presentations were developed to supplement the modules and existing slide tapes.

Previous research has found that children from divorced families usually perform less well on academic achievement measures than children from intact families. Most of these studies were conducted using samples or black and white lower- and working-class families. The present study investigated academic achievement (reading, language, and arithmetic) of adolescents from Hispanic and white divorced and intact families from all income levels.

There were two groups of hypotheses investigated in the study. The first group investigated the situational variables of parental marital status; the first-order interactions of parental marital status by adolescent's sex; by adolescent's ethnicity, and by adolescent's grade; …

The problem was to determine the feasibility of predicting a student's success specific college, on the basis of data available at the time of the student's admission to the college. In addition to considering the development of a regression equation which could be applied to the data of any undergraduate entering the college, the feasibility of developing a statistically significant prediction equation at the school and major level was also examined.

As documented in previous research, parents are an important influence in their child’s college selection process. However, little attention had been given to how parents themselves develop perceptions of or preferences for specific colleges under consideration. This study’s research design tested the null hypothesis:

"THERE EXISTS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PARENT(S) OF IN-STATE STUDENTS AND PARENT(S) OF OUT-OF-STATE STUDENTS IN THEIR FORMATION OF PERCEPTIONS AND PREFERENCES FOR WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY (WVU)."

A total of 520 different health care professionals attended the sessions, with multiple registrations bringing the total enrollment in the program to 925.
