Behavior chains are widely used for individuals with developmental disabilities and chaining has been successfully applied to establish a variety of skills for individuals with developmentally disabilities (Hagopian, Paclawskyj, & Contrucci Kuhn, 2005). Contrary to wide application of behavior chains with individuals with developmental disabilities, little application has been researched in areas of staff training. One exception was the van den Pol, Reid, and Fuqua (1983) study that demonstrated the effectiveness of establishing behavior chains of three task analyses in a peer training model.
