En este texto se trata el tema de las relaciones entre educación y disciplina a partir de la conceptualización planteada por Michel Foucault en sus estudios de genealogía del poder. En el primero y segundo apartados se recuperan las principales tesis del autor al respecto. Se pasa después a la discusión del problema conceptual del control disciplinario en la escuela y, por último, se presenta un ejemplo histórico concreto.
