This research aims to study challenges of implementing Guided Pathways model in 17 North Carolina community colleges. The findings indicated that most colleges struggled with implementing programs for student success.

The purpose of this study is to address the trends of the research on brain-based learning and to present an integrative theoretical framework to provide new insights and future directions in adult education and HRD fields. Based on the neuroscientific perspective, the implications of which the ways to conceptually broaden educational research and practice were discussed.

Using the PIAAC survey, this study examined social characteristics of work and cognitive skills. Results negatively associated collaboration at work and PIAAC scores, contradicting current thinking on workplace interactions.

Empirical civic engagement research based in a South American context. Participants included adult learner populations engaged in revolutionary protests that opposed private for-profit education in Chile. Findings were higher order Spiral Dynamic Theory thinking at the for-profits and lower civic engagement.
