People willingly, even eagerly, give up freedom and independence to join groups and organizations. Calendars are filled with the activities of religious groups, business or professional organizations, recreational teams, civic clubs and others.

Effective leadership is a key element in the success of all groups and organizations. Whether the title is president, director, or chair, progress is measured by the success of the group or organization.
