The Course Design Template Guide outlines a comprehensive approach to instructional design based on the backward design framework developed by Jay McTighe and Grant Wiggins. This guide explains how to use the Course Design Template that organizes course development into three stages: Identify Desired Results, Determine Acceptable Level of Evidence, and Design the Learning Experience. The first stage focuses on defining course and module learning objectives. The second stage involves creating summative assessments to evaluate learning outcomes.
