This thesis discusses parental knowledge of their child's speech and language development. To assess this topic, a survey was administered to 104 parents of preschool children in Arkadelphia, AR. The survey asked general questions concerning speech and language development in children . Parents with four or more children scored higher on the survey than parents with three fewer children. Implications for further studies are discussed.
