Entrepreneurship education in Nigeria is perceived as a means of developing youth employment and poverty alleviation. The readiness of students to become entrepreneurs would be greatly influenced by adequacy and accuracy of the assessment of students’ entrepreneurship preparation. While many authors have acknowledged that entrepreneurship competencies cannot be effectively assessed by written examination, little has been done to develop a scale capable of doing this job. This work therefore described the development and initial evaluation of the psychometric properties of Students’ Entrepreneurship Readiness (SERS) using a sample of 450 undergraduates. Situational Judgment Tests And Their Predictiveness Of College Students' Success: The Influence Of Faking, Helga Peeters, Filip Lievens

There is increasing interest in using situational judgment tests (SJTs) to supplement traditional student admission procedures. An important unexplored issue is whether students can intentionally distort or fake their responses on SJTs. This study examined the fakability of an SJT of college students' performance. Two hundred ninety-three psychology students completed a cognitive test, a personality measure, and an SJT. Only for the SJT, the students were assigned to either an honest or a fake condition.
